GENERAL REASONS FOR ACTION TAKEN
PAROLE COMMISSION COMMENTS
A decision was made at today's hearing to bring your case before the full Parole Commission for a No Action review. As discussed, your case will be presented for consideration by the full Parole Commission in August 2011 after which you will receive an action sheet indicating the results. Once you receive the final outcome from the No Action review, you may request an interpretive interview through the Social Worker.
This is your 1st incarceration and 37 yrs 7 moths has been served of a LIFE sentence for 1st Deg Murder (PTAC) and 15 yrs CS for Att Armed Robbery. Also there is a CS TIS sentence of 2 yrs CONF and 2 yrs ES for an '05 Battery by Prisoner case. The Armed Robbery entailed you and two accomplices entering a tavern in Milwaukee, while all armed with guns and having the intent to rob the establishment, during which time an off duty police officer was shot. In 2004 while at OCI, during a strip search the officer found a lump sewn in your long underwear and when asked about it you bull rushed the officer hitting him with your forearm and sending him to the floor. You ran out of the building until the officers could secure you. A search of the long underwear revealed tobacco, a match and a picture of a nude woman. The officer sustained injuries and was later hospitalized for a week as a result. Since the time of last review, which took place at CCI, you've demonstrated improved conduct and as a result transitioned to SCI in the fall of 2010. You have had two failed attempts in minimum custody and that remains concerning. You will be expected to successfully transition through all custody levels and demonstrate a lower risk prior to the ERRC recommending a release. You took part and completed the Restorative Justice program at CCI in 2008 and you've completed other non essential programming throughout your incarceration. All identified tx needs have been addressed including CGIP, AODA, HSED, and VE. Prior criminal hx included CTT, Auto Theft, Battery, and Unlawful Use of Wpn.
